This yellow and charcoal black color combination is bright and cheerful and offers the sleek lines that originated in the Art Deco period. This informal Hazel Atlas Moderntone pattern of dinnerware was made in several color combinations; the more commonly found pink trimmed in black, a similar aqua (turquoise) and black, yellow and orange, and this sunny fired on yellow with black trim. The sleek lines and shape of the Hazel Atlas Ovide originated in the Art Deco period with their "Cloverleaf" pattern.
Within this set are four 9" Dinner Plates and a footed Creamer & Sugar Set. The dishes remain glossy with minimal utensil marks on the plates and only occasional tiny areas of missing black paint. The creamer and sugar carry the H over A logo for Hazel Atlas. All of the pieces are in Nice Condition with no chips or nicks found.
