Made in the U.S.A., Franciscan pottery by Gladding McBean is part of the heritage of American Pottery. This Madeira Pattern was introduced in the late 1960's and truly speaks of the era. The earth tones and mod floral pattern is so 1960's - 70's! The Madeira design was actually manufactured from 1967 to 1983. The chocolate brown background offers the swirling pattern in a mixture of greenish tones.
