Manufactured in 1957, this special toy train engine was only manufactured for one year. The train has a teddy bear engineer and is in bright yellow, red, and blue. When pulled the train makes a "whistling" sound and the thick cardboard engine portion moves back and forth as the wooden wheels turn. The paper graphics are in beautiful condition. The striking royal blue plastic pull cord , though a bit distracting, appears to be original (matching one seen fresh out of its original box). The wooden roof of the cab has wear to the corners as seen in the photos, otherwise the vintage train shows little wear or signs of use.
