This vintage mid-century set of tumblers by Jeanette Glass in the Thumb Print pattern have the scalloped footed base. Each of these tumblers are 6" tall and hold 8 ounces. The "thumbprint" impressions are graduated in size; the larger impressions are at the top where each of the glasses are wider. As the tumblers taper down and narrow at the base, the thumb prints grow smaller too. The scalloped bases resemble flower petals.
One of the four footed tumblers has two rough areas on the base; one is a tiny nick and the other a flat chip on the top of a scallop (please see photo). No other nicks, chips, or cracks are found.
Though the four tumblers are clear, they have a light yellowish cast and are probably older than the pitcher that is shown in one of these photos (listed separately).
This glass is thick and heavy. The shipping charge reflects their weight.
