Referred to as a Deco vase, or a Table Vase, this green fired on Vitrock vase is by Anchor Hocking. The shade of green for the 5 1/4" vase is probably as close to the Jadite color of green that could be fired on. The color was fired on over a creamy white Vitrock base leaving the inside and the decorative "handles" in the original colors. The term "Deco" vase was coined sometime later than these vases were manufactured by Anchor Hocking, Fire King. The original selling label was as a "Table Vase" and came in a rainbow of colors. The pastels were this shade of green, a blue, a yellow and a peachy pink. Darker primary colors were also available.
This vase is in Excellent condition without nicks or chips. The last photograph shows a matching peach / pink vase also listed separately in this shop at the time of this listing. You may wish to purchase both vases together and save on combined shipping.
