This Creamer and Covered Sugar are in the Golden Shell pattern. The fine 22k gold trim remains in Excellent Condition. The top to the sugar does not carry the trim. The sugar has a very small chip on the bottom of the base. It is a very smooth divot and is difficult to see (See last photo at about 4 or 5 o'clock.) Otherwise the set appears Excellent! Each the creamer and sugar carry the Anchor Hocking Fire King mark.
A 10" Dinner Plate in this pattern is also available and listed separately. If you wish to purchase the plate with the creamer & sugar, you will receive a 25% discount on the plate and shipping will be combined.
Often confused with their Swirl pattern, Anchor Hocking's Shell Pattern carries many similarities. The creamer, sugar, and the coffee cups in this the Shell Pattern carry a more decorative handle (see the little "bump" near the top and bottom of each handle). The 22K gold trim around the milk white pieces led them to be labeled as "Golden Shell". Ironically the Swirl Line also carries milk white dishes with a very similar 22K Gold trim known as the Anniversary line. The easiest way to distinguish the plates and bowls apart is to remember that the Golden Shell carries a finer trim (a thinner gold line).
