From the late 1950's, the Fifi and Fido salt and pepper shakers were promotional advertising for Ken-L-Ration's pet food. In 1957, the Quaker Oats Company used Fido and his kitty cat friend FiFi to promote their line of pet food products; Ken-L-Ration. The black and white tuxedo cat named FiFi graced Ken-L-Ration's cat food and Fido, the fluffy yellow puppy, represented their dog food. The lovable plastic pets are licking their lips indicating the goodness of their product. The 3 1/2" hard plastic shakers are in Excellent Condition. Their painted features remain intact and their stoppers are in place. The shakers carry the F & F Mold and Die Works name on the bottom.
