This 4 1/4" square refrigerator bowl has a cover with embossed images of tomatoes and asparagus. The dish remains in good condition but with a few nicks on the corner and on the inner ridge of the lid. These are felt better than seen except under magnification. Before plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and plastic bowls were a mainstay in our fridge, this type of bowl served the purpose of refrigerator storage and then right to the table as a serving bowl. These are great for pickles, tomato slices and fresh veggies.
