Ruth's Redemptions Antiques & Collectibles
is now SOLDPerfect for a small party!...and if its a Christmas party, stack your green glassware in the shape of a tree.
By Federal Glass, each of these footed dishes carry the Federal Glass "F" within a shield. The paneled design is very similar to Hocking's Panel Optic. These cone shaped footed glasses were originally called sherbets and are perfect for serving everything from shrimp, to ice cream, to fruit, to your favorite dessert.
The glass of all ten of these is in great condition with very few marks or signs of use; no nicks or chips and the glass remains nice and clear. There are the occasional small bubbles found in the glassware that is typical of the Depression Era glass. It glows under a black light indicating a Uranium content. This type of glass is sometimes referred to as "Vaseline Glass" but is more appropriately identified as either "fluorescent" or "Uranium" glass. The glassware still sparkles and is pictured in the photographs with several types of lighting in order to try to show the colorful green glass with a flash, without, and under a Black Light.
The price is for all TEN, and shipping the ten will be a bit pricey as the packaged weight is over four pounds.
