This unmarked card is easily identified as a Stecher by the familiar design on the back, the series number, and the unique but similar portrayal of the Easter Rabbits on the front. This embossed post card would have been manufactured in the 1910's. It appears as unused though on very close inspection of the back under bright light a first name has been erased from the back. The bottom corners show some loss of color (left worse than right) and are slightly bumped. Otherwise the postcard is in Excellent Condition, the other edges are without wear, the colors remain bright, and there are no creases or tears.
On a background of sky blue and shiny gold, one brown rabbit and one white with red eyes, appear to be holding onto a very large egg. A floral bouquet of wild pink roses add a touch of color to the pair of bunnies and their tinted green Easter egg.
The last photo shows this card with other Stecher Easter postcards from the same series. Series 217 and also in this shop.
