Postmarked 1908, this postcard was published by the "Souvenir Post Card Shop Of Cleveland." Most actual examples found from this publisher today seems to be cameo photo postcards from 1905 of the Cleveland Indians Baseball team. The Souvenir Post Card Shop Of Cleveland was located in the downtown Cleveland "Colonial Arcade" area. Postcard consumers were able to visit the card shop to directly make purchases.
This postcard greeting is for "A Peaceful Easter." The illustration portrays a large embossed Passion Cross framed by a leafy vine. A brightly colored floral bouquet is at the the center of the cross. The undivided back suggests that the postcard was likely printed a few years before being mailed. The card has light age tanning and soiling. The corners are only lightly softened.
All postcards, greeting cards, jewelry, Valentines or hankies may be shipped together at the rate of one item. Any of these can be added to another order without extra shipping fees.
