On a wood grain background, this beautiful embossed Easter Postcard tells the Christian Story of Easter through symbolism. Several Christian songs depict Jesus as the “Lily of the Valley.” The pure white Lily of the Valley flowers portrayed as an overlay to the cross and the wood grain background are symbolic of the crucifixion of Christ on the wooden cross. The sentiment or greeting; "Easter Greetings" is printed in script in blood red.

In Excellent Condition, this circulated postcard carries a 1916 Monroe, Wisconsin postmark and is addressed to Bangor, Wisconsin. The card has been kept in beautiful condition with the colors, edge, and corners crisp. There is very light age tanning on the back. The card has a handwritten message and address.
