Postmarked 1911, this heavily embossed postcard offers a "Fond Easter Greeting." The postcard carries the International Art Publishing Co. Globe Logo and indicates that the card was printed in Germany. The circulated card was mailed to Chambersburg, PA over 100 years ago carrying a message to Miss Bertha Martin. The front of the card carries a cross in green with a bouquet of Pansies in shades of purple. A large green ribbon, bow, and a lace like frame give the illustration a delicate appearance. The corners are bumped and soft. The last photo magnifies a very short tear on the edge. A light stain can be seen near the greeting on the front. A pretty post card to frame!
