Copyright by Julius Bien in 1907, this antique embossed card is postmarked 1910. The card features Easter Lilies with a poem by Mary C. Low. The author and illustrator, Mary Low of the early 1900's, was probably best known for her published poetry. Her writings can be found on early postcards, greeting cards, and within a book titled; "Verses" published in 1911.
The Julius Bien trademark is found on the upper left corner of the back. The back also carries a short message and address written in pencil. The front illustration is a lovely portrayal of Easter Lilies. Typical of its age, the corners are bumped. There are two light creases near the top (shown in the photos).
