The Early American Prescut (EAPC) pattern was first produced in the early 1960's by Anchor Hocking. Because of the six pointed stars within EAPC, the pattern became fondly known as "The Star of David" pattern.
Though these are the cups that were sold by Anchor Hocking with the EAPC Punch Bowl and Snack plates, the cups are from an earlier Prescut pattern by Anchor Hocking that was known as "Oatmeal" because it was offered as a premium within a brand of Oatmeal called Crystal Wedding Oats. "Oatmeal" is the same pattern as the EAPC except it was made without the star.
This set of FOUR Cups were made to be utilized with the EAPC Punch Bowl or Snack Plates and also match the Saucers in the Oatmeal pattern. The cups are crystal clear and without nicks, chips, or breaks. You may wish to see other EAPC and Oatmeal pieces in this shop.
