This vintage doll dress has no tag and appears to be "Mommy" Made. It is consistent with doll patterns of the 1950's and 60's. The cotton blend fabric has a creamy white background with red triangular geometric print. The collar is rayon or a rayon blend and the dress was made with a metal zipper .
It is 8" long from the shoulder to the bottom of the dress. The neck opening is 9" (the circumference). The sleeves are made in a Dolman style with openings of 5" (the circumference) and are likely intended to be short sleeves though they appear to be three quarter length on the model. Laying flat, the dress measures 9" from armpit to armpit and 12" across at the bottom. The vintage dress is without rips or tears. No spotting noted.
The dress is shown on a 17 1/2" Arranbee (R&B) Doll and though it is a good length for this doll (and would be a good length for most 17-18 inch dolls) the dress would best fit a larger (stockier) doll than the R&B model. The dress is actually quite loose on the doll shown.
