A bough from a cherry tree with juicy red cherries is the central design of this antique porcelain plate. The two groups of plump cherries are a wine color surrounded by brown twigs and green leaves. Part of the design is embossed. The thin delicate plate has a scalloped edge with a worn gold trim. The plate is footed. There is no maker's mark. There are two thin superficial chips on the bottom edge. The plate is 8 1/2".
A pretty decorative design for the lovers of cherries.
