From the 1960's this serving bowl was given as a grocery store promotion at Kroger's. Often the grocery stores would reward the customers with cookware or dinnerware based on their purchase amount. Sometimes the promotional items could be purchased at a low discounted price or sometimes they were free after a certain dollar amount had been spent. This bowl was earned by purchases and then only displayed most of these years.
The floral design includes pink roses. The "greenery" and a few stalks of wheat are portrayed in gray. The scalloped edge of the bowl is trimmed in gold. The bowl shows no signs of use and is in Like New Condition. It is 2 1/2" deep and 7 1/2" wide. There are no maker's marks.
