Duncan and Sons produced the Ellrose pattern in the late 1800's. This elegant Daisy & Button paneled Serving Bowl is in beautiful condition and an excellent way to serve up a favorite dish for the holidays. The crystal clear glass sparkles. The upper edge is deeply scalloped; the patterned panels of the bowl form high peaks that alternate with clear narrow panels that peak at lower points. The serving measures about 8 1/2" wide and stands about 3 1/2" tall. No nicks, chips, or breaks are found. When the bowl is slanted towards the light, there appears to be a shear line (sometimes called a straw mark) of about 2" in the bottom of the bowl and was a normal part of the production of the glass.
