This vintage Teapot actually holds 40 ounces and that's not all the way to the brim. The teapot was made by Emerson Creek Pottery in the USA. Emerson Creek Pottery is located in Bedford, Virginia at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and has been making handcrafted, lead free, ceramic pottery since 1977.
This vintage teapot, with the now discontinued blue floral pattern, is signed on the base and dated 1994. Though unsure of the pattern name the blue flowers appear to be forget me nots. It is 6 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" from the tip of the short spout to the outer edge of the handle.
This teapot has never been used. The unglazed portion of the foot is slightly discolored from sitting on the shelf but otherwise the tea pot is in new condition at 23 years old.
