Bunnykins tableware was introduced in 1934 and needs very little introduction to most folks. Manufactured by Royal Doulton of England, the little bunny dishes were used by Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret and then became a must have gift for birthday parties and baby showers. These cute bunnies are known now by almost every Nursery, Mother and Child around. Various trademarks have been used through the years, all I believe feature the same three rabbits along with the crest, lion, and "Made in England". The copyright date of 1936 is still being used today and does not indicate the year made.
This Bunnykin bowl features the Mother Bunny in charge (or perhaps just exasperated) with the young bunnies as they re-decorate or spring clean. The children have wall paper stretched out and unrolling, a bucket of paste on one bunny's head....quite a scene for any Mom to walk into! The bowl has the straight coupe shaped sides. There are minor utensil marks but in otherwise Excellent Condition. No chips, nicks, breaks or crazing.
