In Very Good Condition, this vintage quilt measures 21" x22".
Much of the fabric used within the patterned squares appears to be feed sack material / print. The color choices remain bright with a predominant selection of shades of blue. Eye catching bright red squares offer a significant contrast and black and white gingham checks bring balance to the colors. The back and border are off white sheeting fabric. All of the stitches appear to be hand done!
The stitching remains intact. No rips holes or tears. There are a few pinpoint stains on the border that appear to be rust. (see close up photo). On the back there are a few yellowish "age" spots and an area of light pink (also shown in photo.) Overall --very nice and in great condition.
It is clean and washable and can be used as a baby blanket though I believe it was intended as a quilt for someone's special baby doll. The quilt is a nice wall hanging size if you choose to display it.
