This original vintage painting on stretched canvas is unsigned. This seascape was purchased in the 1970's from a painter at Nags Head, NC and beautifully framed in a wide rustic wood frame. Though a somewhat simple rendering the painting is an insightful ocean view between sand dunes on a natural, less inhabited, sea shore. Whether the medium is oil or acrylic, I'm not sure. There are some brush strokes apparent and the surface is slightly textured. The painting itself offers neutral pastel colors of sand, sea, and sky and was professionally framed. There is a small ding to the wood in the upper left corner of the frame that is easily covered with a bit of stain if preferred. Framed, the outside measurements are 11 3/4" x 10. The inside view of the painting is 7" x 5 1/4". Nice Condition.
