Dated on the back as 1892, this antique photograph Cabinet Card features a young man and a small little girl in a sepia tone. The gentleman's suit is not typical of the Victorian era but actually appears more as a military uniform from the Civil War. Perhaps it was handed down from his father? The man is "holding" the child in a somewhat typical fashion for the time. Instead of sitting in his lap, the little girl is sitting beside of him. He appears to just be holding on to her dress to keep her from falling. The card is in very good condition. The studio name; "The Roshen Studio" is on the front bottom of the card and the back gives the date, the studio address, and negative information. The card measures 4 1/8" x 6 1/2". Perhaps a nice Father's Day image.
