A sweet face with heart shaped lips. This pretty Christmas Angel is a ringing bell and her clapper is present. Produced by a pottery in Japan, the angel carries an internal mark and a makers label indicating it was made by Napco and is dated 1956. Several other mid-century companies in Japan such as Enesco and Lefton also made similar porcelain figures. This pretty porcelain angel has a "fur" coat represented with sparkling spaghetti trim highlighted with gold. Her green dress and mittens peek out from beneath her red coat. The little angel is wearing a Santa type hat also with the spaghetti fur trim. Hand painted, the angel has a few misses in the paint here and there as is typical. She is without signs of damage--no chips, nicks, or breaks. The angel is holding a lighted candle and is 5 1/8" tall.
You may be interested in two other Napco Christmas Angel Bells also in this shop (listed separately). The last photo shows all three available Napco angels.
