The Rachael or "Classic" pattern by Anchor Hocking's Fire King was manufactured between 1963 and 1972. The thick and heavy milk white glass is scalloped and trimmed with a 22K Gold Edge. The pattern is known for its unique star shaped base. The pattern was a small line, therefore making it relatively difficult to find.
This large "Classic" bowl is 11" across and 5" tall. The glass is thick and heavy. No chips nicks or breaks found. The shiny gold trim is without wear or scratches and is in Excellent Condition. A couple of short gray marks are found on one side of the bowl that are shown in closeup in the 8th photo. The marks are magnified in the photo though they are virtually unremarkable. The glass remains glossy and pure white.
The shipping charge reflects the thick and heavy glass.
