This is a selection of a vintage Straight Razor in a case with Brush. The Razor is marked LANSEATRA. It has black plastic celluloid like material scales or handle and measures 5 ½ inches long with a black spacer. It has 2 rivets. Overall it measures approx. 9 ½ inches long. The blade measures almost 3 inches long and is 5/8 of a inch wide. It is well used with rust, tarnish, scratches and wear. It was cleaned and polished. It is in good usable condition. It is in a unmarked no name black cardboard case. I found several Newspaper adds or articles from 1920 that stated The Lanseatra Company, importer and exporter of silks, fancy goods, leather novelties, etc. I was told by the Seller that it was used in his Grandfather's Bath, New York Barber Shop. I am including a Shaving Soap Lather Brush that has no maker's mark.
