This is a vintage U.S. Military World War 2 WW2 three piece silver colored Shaving Safety Razor. On a search I found “The Gillette Tech was also a common gift to American soldiers from WWII through Vietnam from the American Red Cross in care packages. Description: Three piece design, top blade holder has one threaded prong (for handle). Inside: "PAT. NOS. ON PACKAGE", underside: "REG. U.S. PT. OFF. | [Gillette diamond] MADE IN U.S.A." Available in silver or gold color.” According to Badger & Blade Forum I found the ones that are black are from WWII and pictures show a S similar to on this one. The 3 1/8 inch long screw on handle is unmarked with a ball end. It has several handle cracks but is on solid. The grey colored metal top is missing most of the black. I am unsure what type of metal was used for the top. The handle has no black. It is well used with scratches, paint loss, top dullness and wear. It is priced according to condition. Some the newer blades are made for use in these older double edge blade razors. I am including a sealed box of Gillette Blue Blades with 5 Blades. It was cleaned.
