This is a selection of 2 vintage Kitchen Knifes both marked LAMSON Shelburne Falls Ma. Stainless. They also have NSF Testing Laboratory Ann Arbor Mich. In a circle. The Chef's large knife is also marked 108S03-12. Overall it measures approx. 17 ¼ inches long with a 12 inch long blade that is 1 3/8 inches wide and 3/32 thick on the top. It has a approx. 5 ¼ inch long black poly handle with a guard. The other Steak or Slicing Knife is approx. 13 ¼ inches long with a 8 inch long blade. It is also marked 10S82-8. It has a similar handle. They are well used with scratches and wear in good usable condition. They do not have scratches along the blade from being sharpened. I found “Lamson & Goodnow, maker of LamsonSharp™ cutlery, is the oldest cutlery manufacturer in the United States. Lamson & Goodnow was established in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts in 1837, and rapidly became the premier cutler in the United States.” I found they are now out of business.
