This vintage wood burnt and painted Pyrography Art Craft picture. It is a pair of Red Birds perched on Thistles and wood burn signed by the artist E. Culver'91. The birds look like Scarlet Tanagers but I am unsure. The 6 3/8 by almost 8 ½ inches piece of 7/8 of a inch thick wood has a nice router edge shape. The picture area is 5 ½ by almost 7 ½ inches. The picture front has a clear coat and a back hole for hanging. It is used in good condition. I found “Thistle is the common name of a group of flowering plants characterised by leaves with sharp prickles on the margins, mostly in the family Asteraceae. ” I was unable to find information about the artist. The wood has a small dent on the router edge above the top Thistle that I was unable to get pictures of.
