Antique Edwardian brooch with great quality highly faceted genuine purple amethyst gemstone and hanging on ornate sterling silver dragon plaque.
The brooch measure: 1-3/8”inches width by 2-1/16”inches tall , the amethyst stone measures 10mm x 15mm W a secure locking clasp and is in good antique condition.signed 925 (tested) and one more mark but I can’t read it and weighs 10.56grams.
This Edwardian pin is just lovely - sterling silver dragon plus amethyst is absolute classic.
An absolutely stunning piece of Edwardian history which today would make a impressive accessory wherever you may choose to wear ... scarf, lapel, belt.
