A stunning and rare old antique Chinese gilt brooch, made from hand carved red cinnabar has a striking floral design.The cinnabar is mounted in a gold gilt base metal and set ornately rectangle frame, and its vibrant red hue will be the perfect pop of colour to compliment any outfit.

This lovely cinnabar brooch measures: 2-1/2” inches width by 1-1/4” inches tall, the cinnabar measure 1”(25mm) in diameter.
Overall condition is very good, as to be expected with age the gold gilt finish has worn in areas, see pictures.
