This is a lovely large Victorian gold filled “love knot” brooch from the late 1800s. The design is typical of Victorian love knot jewelry with its interlocking circles – or love knot. The pin has a lovely surface design featuring a large faceted pasted amethyst. The pin’s finish is a highly polished rich gold. The old “C” clasp works well. Condition is in excellent vintage.
This wonderful Antique brooch has quite a substantial weight.
