This is absolutely beautiful piece, featuring 37 Shou symbol cinnabar beads with gilt silver filigree flower clasp.

The necklace is strung and knotted in the traditional manner with red silk thread.
The cinnabar beads are carved in the lovely deep red with the SHOU longevity pattern and highly skilled.
The cinnabar beads measure about 15mm and the necklace measures about 25”long. Beautiful color and in wonderful vintage condition. The total weight of the necklace is 69.50grams. 
This type of art was passed on from generation to generation.
Today the young generation is no longer interested in this kind of work.
This necklace is becoming highly collectible., You can easily come across cinnabar necklaces with the motif of flowers.But it is harder to find the motif of SHOU bead.
