This is an exceptional large vintage Chinese hand carved wood mask of warrior adored with elaborate crocodiles and grimace headdress.

A fabulous vintage piece mythological in style with a lovely patina.
He is larger than most of these masks I have seen and is very heavy. His eyes and teeth are appear to be made of bovine. The back side has a heavy duty wire for hanging that is mounted firmly with two screws.

The mask measures: 7-3/4” inches width by 11 inches tall and 4” inches thick.
This is a large exquisite hand carved warrior face mask , vivid with master workmanship ,has great energy and would be a delightful addition to a wall art collage to protect your home.
