This is a striking set of mid-century hand-crafted ring and clip earrings made of chalcedony and 830 silver. The set was made about 1960 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Idar-Oberstein is noted for its jewelry artisans.
The cabochon stones are heat-treated chalcedony. They are satiny smooth and have a delicate green color that reminds me of Spring. The earring stones are a tiny bit darker than the ring. The settings are 830 silver in a soft modern shape.
The clip earrings are very comfortable.

DATE: c.1960
CONDITION: Excellent. Silver not perfectly polished.
MEASUREMENTS: Ring: size 7. Head of ring: about 1 inch wide x 1 3/8 long. Earrings: about ¾ inch wide x 1 inch long.
