This set of 12 porcelain cabinet plates was made by Lenox in the early 20th century. The plates feature heavy gilt decoration along with a 1" thick cobalt blue band at the shoulder. The ornate pattern includes scrolling foliate shapes along with floral details.

The plates measure 10.625" across and the rim stands 0.625" tall. The full set weighs 14lbs 2oz. The back of the plates bear the Lenox green wreath backstamp used from 1906-1930 along with the name of the high end jeweler who retailed the set, Loring Andrews of Cincinnati. The plates are also hand-painted with pattern information which reads "1830/V-58-B". The set is free of chips and cracks and shows little sign of use.

These Lenox porcelain cabinet plates display beautifully and can be used on their own or mixed and matched with other gilt encrusted dinner plates. An elegant and useful set.
