This special ring is a stunning example of stark geometric form and interplay of gem color. We call it “The Pentagon” due to its five sided shape. But because two of the sides are longer, like a pyramid, therein lies the uniqueness of this design. Additionally, the progression of stones from the exterior perimeter of diamonds, to the interior pave of sapphires, all surrounding a deep green natural emerald of 2.8 carats, is simply breathtaking!
A notable cocktail ring, featuring 2.8 carat emerald, surrounded by 22 sapphires and 38 brilliant cut diamonds. Accompanied by an appraisal evaluation from the Gemological Appraisal Laboratory of America.
Dimensions: 11.13 mm X 8.12 mm X 5.97 mm
Weight: 7.4 grams; emerald is 2.8 carats
Size: 7 (Can be resized)
Materials: Diamond, emerald, sapphire
Condition: Very good. We believe the ring to be an Art Deco piece that was reset with this substantial emerald at some point in its life, perhaps having originally housed an onyx slab inset with a diamond. The addition of the emerald makes this ring an unforgettable example, fit for the finest collection.
