It's the typical Boy of Montmartre.
Poulbot Francisque is a very famous artist and illustrator (1879-1946) well most known for his drawings and pasters of mischievous unchins of montmartre during the years 1910-1920.
In the street of Paris Montmartre ran young boys penniless, a cap screwed on the head. who had to fend for survival despite adversity and poverty. These little Parisians were a great source of inspiration for Mr Francisque Poulbot the famous illustrator before the WW1. Who had lived for a long time on the most famous hill in Paris know all around the world.
Condition: good condition this pretty boy is working. He moves his head and the legs swaying left to right.
Some wear on the sweater. Some work will maybe necessary if you think so. But personnaly he is cute like that he don't really need it.
