The book was originally complied and adapted by Letha Booth and has been update and enlarged by the Staff of Colonial Williamsburg. It contains commentary by Joan Parry Dutton. The book was published by The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and distributed by Holt Rinehart and Winston. The book was updated and enlarged in 1975 and this is the 1978, Third Printing.
This delightful cookbook is just full of menus and recipes for all occasions. It features recipes from then and now; Christmas Feasts; and Tavern Fare. The colored pictures and black and white illustrations are outstanding. This book is in excellent/unused condition. What a nice gift--or aid in planning for all those holiday feasts.
