In an introduction to this book the President of Imperial Sugar, R. M. Armstrong states the following: "We at Imperial Sugar are proud to present you with this thrilling selection of choice Sugarplum recipes...a fantasy of good things to eat...guaranteed to please everyone who is young at heart."
The book contains wonderful recipes for beverages, frosting, filling, icing, cakes, candies, cookies, pastries, puddings, sweet breads, and jams and sauces. It also contains a section on hints and measurements.
This book was published by Imperial Sugar, Sugar Land, Texas with a 1970 copyright date. The book is spiral bound, with a paper cover over the spiral. There is some wear to the cover and there is a tear, about 1 inch long, at the center of the binding edge of the front cover. All pages are clean and bright with no marks or tears. What a delightful addition to any cookbook collection.
