This striking Whiting & Davis wide hinged gold-tone repousse bangle is unused and in perfect condition. It still retains its original tag. The pattern is palm fronds and urns. This is a typical classic design one expects from this company.
Whiting & Davis started doing business in 1876 as Wade Davis & Company. In 1896 Whiting became a partner in the company, and the name was changed to Whiting & Davis. In 1907 he became the sole owner of the company. They stopped making jewelry in 1991, but still make mesh purses. They are located in Massachusetts.
This vintage bracelet measures approximately 2 1/2" in diameter. The interior measurement is approximately 7" and the bracelet is 1 1/4" wide. The clasp works perfectly and it retains its safety chain.
This gorgeous unused bracelet will be a perfect gift, but it might be hard to part with.
