This precious Easter postcard depicts a young girl holding little chicks with a little boy looking on. Below them are two chicks hatching out of their eggs. There are several boxes and the greeting "A Happy Easter". These lines and boxes give this card an Art Deco appearance.
The back of the card has a greeting and an address. There is a canceled one-cent stamp and a postmark from Butler, Pa. dated April 5, 1912.
This adorable embossed postcard is in very good condition with one flaw. Above the girls head is a silver spot. It appears that someone might have tried to cover a small spot of damage--or it could possibly have been done during manufacture. A great card to add to any collection.
