What a delightful scene. These two soldiers, two years prior to WW I, are driving to Frisco (San Francisco) to attend the 1915 World's Fair. This fair was called the Panama–Pacific International Exposition. It was ostensibly to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal and to showcase San Francisco's recovery from the 1906 earthquake.
These soldiers look very serious--sure hope they had a good time.
This card is in very good condition with a very light crease at the bottom right corner and a little smudging on the bottom white part of the card. It is unused and has no writing or soiling on the back.
