This is the tale of a goat named "Billy Whiskers" and his adventures during the time he spent at the Circus. The book is printed by Saalfield Publishing Company, Akron, Ohio and has a copyright date of 1908.
There is a full color print at the front of the book and many black and white drawings throughout. The cover is decorated paper and there is some wear to the binding, corners and edges. There a a couple of slight wrinkle lines on the cover (these really do not distract). The pages are browned from age, which is typical is the type of paper used in this book. Otherwise the pages are in good condition with no writing or soiling, and with one 1" tear at the bottom of page 11. "Joe, Xmas, 1946, from Grandmom" is written in gold in the front of the book. Overall this vintage book is in wonderful condition. What a delightful addition to any collection!
