This card wishes a Joyful Thanksgiving. Three pilgrims are depicted at the top and the bottom contains the declaration establishing Thanksgiving day signed by William Bradford, Governor of Plymouth, 1621. The edge of the card is embossed to give a scalloped or lacy look. There is a message on the back of the card and a canceled one cent stamp. There is only a half of the cancellation mark and no date. This card is in very good condition with only extremely slight corner bumping and a tiny bit of light ink marking along the bottom under the seal (probably where the cancellation mark bled through.
This card will look great as part of any Thanksgiving decorations. What fun--the first official Thanksgiving.
