Little Golden Book of Numbers
This is a delightful "H" edition of the Little Golden Book entitled Numbers with a sub-title "What They Look Like and What They Do". The book is by Mary Reed and Edith Osswald and illustrated by Violet LaMont. It has a 1955 copyright date and a 29 cent cover price. Dr. Reed says: "The authors have planned this Little Golden Book to show how numbers function in children's everyday activities. The rhythmic language, and the stimulating pictures by Violet LaMont, introduce arithmetic as a joyful and meaningful experience."
This book is in wonderful condition. The only flaw is a tiny bung on the back cover right at the spine. Looks like it was jabbed putting it on a shelf or something like that. Very minor. There is a minute amount of shelf wear to the back cover. The pages are all clean and crisp with no writing, tearing or soiling. This book actually looks virtually unused. This is a rather hard to find Little Golden Book and will be a wonderful addition to any collection.
I will be happy to combine purchases to save on shipping costs. International orders are always welcome
