Substantial and fabulous! Nearly five inches tall with shiny black enamel. Faux pearls are set for flowers of this Lily of the Valley pin.
A row of tiny clear chatons edge the leafy portions of this brooch. Patent number 125,676. This is a Gene Verrecchio design patent, 1941. The piece is marked Coro and with the patent number on the lower edge of one stalk. This piece is in very good condition, photos are accurate. A few of the smallest faux pearls at the tips of the stems were missing and then replaced with harvested and appropriate period ones in an effort to retain the majority of original creamy color faux pearls. I've seen this piece with completely replaced whiter faux pearls and it just doesn't compare to the vintage, softer color of the originals. Measures a large, 4 7/8 by 1 7/8 inches. This is one of those old alluring pieces that makes a great addition to any collection and continues to wear beautifully.
