Beautiful glass necklace with dozens of little, semi opaque pate de verre pieces in floral shapes. Each piece of glass is wired to the next forming a continuous, 62 inch strand. Each piece is slightly different and are about 1/2 inch. See page 34 of "European Designer Jewelry" by Moro for blue earrings in the same manner of Pate de verre and a thorough description of the process. I can see two pieces that have significantly fractured and one that is missing. Ca., 1920's and wears beautifully.
