Earlier Miriam Haskell Faux Baroque Pearl and Mesh Pin - image 1 of 3

The Fanning base is a blend of three identical smaller and finely stamped plaques wired together. Has the commonly accepted perforated plastic back with a book confirmed pin mechanism. The front is a dangling cluster of beige faux pearls and a loopy narrow mesh bow all wired to the filigree base. Much of the shinier gold finish has worn away, allowing the warm glow of brass to give this piece authentic vintage appeal. The nacre coating does display a few rubs acknowledging their age but, wearing it very well. No peeling. The piece measures 2 3/4 inches across. Ca., 1940's and is in very good condition.
